Things so Different
On the outside,
I’m a delicate yellow,
making my life jubilant,
day by day,
while being invisible.
But beneath the layers,
deep red bleeds out.
Blazing, and full of passion,
Spreading like wildfire,
catching the attention
with the blink of an eye.
Both sides seem different,
but forever the same.
