Never One Shade
I’m never only one shade,
and rarely just two.
I range the whole light spectrum,
from red to violet.
But the tone I frequent most,
is pink like a fuschia.
Bold, bright, and boisterous,
screaming “look at me!”
However, I also enjoy
a shade of deep blue.
Quiet, refined, and thinking
about deep questions.
I may lounge in these shades,
but never for long.
I inhabit the rainbow,
from red to violet.
