Hold You
April 30, 2013
I will hold you,
And I won't let you go.
I will hold through all,
Be it,
Rain,
Snow,
Ice,
Wind,
Cold,
Heat,
Or Death,
I will hold you.

Oh, hello! The title and picture completely go with each other! I sometimes find it difficult to find pictures on Teenink to go with my poems and I spend a lot of time trying to find the right one. Anyways, I enjoyed how simple it was, it delicate. The emphasis of one worded lines was really smart, I LOVE when writers do that. And I see you've done it again, using the symbol of winter in here. You made a simple little poem dark, but with the last line you lightened the mood and brought back the love. I enjoyed this, it was sweet and deep saying that you'd hold this person even through death. Good job. And since you and I are always talking about songs, I figured I might bring this up.. In the third line you said, 'I will hold you through it all' which reminded me of a song called 'Your Guardian Angel' by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. So, maybe you wanna check it out?

Sounds a bit like the mailman: "Neither rain nor sleet nor snow..." :D This is simple and to the point, but I'm with OldYoungOne, it does need more descriptive, vibrant words to really send your emotions across. Otherwise, great idea and I hope you have a great day!

This is a an okay poem in my opinion. I could possibly ask for a little more a creative interpretation. Maybe too direct and blunt with the message. Although, I did like how you space your words out out give emphasis on the subject. Good job.
