To the lady in pink,
With style and class.
A mother to her family,
And the rest of America.
To the lady in pink,
Giving inspiration to many.
Art, literature, and the cultivation of culture.
Were her greatest weapons.
To the lady in pink,
Bearing the intelligence of Hawking,
Encompassing the beauty of a golden sunset,
And possessing gracefulness like a ballerina.
To the lady in pink,
Who was loyal through and through.
Until one day in November,
When her world fell apart.
To the lady in pink,
Who stayed strong through and through,
Imprinting her name,
Into the hearts of a generation.
