Let's replace the common people
with the figure of a candle.
Each person truly his own work of wax,
disfigured and perfected by one's facts.
Let's replace the common mood
now together we will brood
over something infectious like Anger
when one is lit, so is another.
Oh, how simple life could be
If candles were philosophy.
