Till happiness comes again
Wind blows my face,
My hair flies behind me.
The sun kisses my skin
Warming me to the bone.
I smile
For the first time in weeks.
It doesn't just touch my cheeks.
It goes deeper,
Waking something deep inside myself.
I am filled with joy.
An emotion long forgotten.
Then in a flash,
It is ripped from me.
All happiness banished.
And despair fills me.
Sad
Till happiness come again
