Its eyes survey the terrain
While zipping through the pouring rain

It spots a jackrabbit on the ground
The hunt is ready, the prey is found

The bird swoops down at soaring speeds
The jackrabbit spots him and jumps out of the weeds

It nears closer, talons ready to attack
The rabbit senses the bird right on his track

The bird plummets to the ground and snatches the pest
It returns home to bring it to its nest

It lets its young feast on the raw meat
The rabbit lies dead in the scorching summer heat

The rabbit has lost and the bird has won
The continuous cycle of life moves on

I love the Circle of Life and am very inspired by nature and its order.
