Fantasy Interupted
October 14, 2013
I dreamed last night
that he and I were sitting together.
He put his hand in mine,
and my stomach turned to
warm sugar water.
I kissed him twice
and felt like I was
bathing in gardenias and
chocolate.
He blushed-and my heart
floated out of my mouth
and into his.
He told me he loves me,
so I said the same thing back.
Then I woke up,
and realized-
we've never even had
a real conversation.
