Depression
Taking me back to my darkest days
The kind of dark days when it's difficult to get out of bed
The days where thoughts seem never-ending
And The pain doesn't fade
It only gets worse
old pains mixed with new pains
Days seem like weeks
Weeks seem like months
Time passes slowly
Consumed by my thoughts
Thinking how did I get back here again
Wanting it to go away
Seems as if there's nothing that
Could calm these storms in my head
Wishing there was an off switch
To these thoughts that keep rushing through my mind
But they never cease
Because there is no off switch.
