Long, yellow, slender and sleek. You
help me create ideas and thoughts,
words and pictures, sounds and notions.
Without you, I would be nothing. A simple person.
Why do you help me? I have never helped
you. You glide so gracefully, and send me words
Of wisdom.
How can you feel my frustration?
Does it flow through my fingertips?
Does it radiate out of me? You inspire me.
You give your life to me to create whatever I please.
Amazing isn’t it. How my ideas grow, yours
Shrink.
