I am alive.
I have stories I want to tell.
I have dreams for the future, and hope for the present.
I will not be convicted by my past.
I am in control of my destiny.

You.
You are alive.
You have a voice that needs to be heard.
You have things to share and lives to change.
You will find your way into the light.
You are more than your monsters.

We.
We are alive.
We have so much ahead of us.
We have our stories to tell, and songs to sing.
We will see the beauty inside us all.
We are, and always will be, extraordinary.

The author's comments:
I was inspired by my own lack of self-worth, and how I realized I needed to change that. Humans are so fragile yet so strong-- we fight every day, lose some battles, and win others. It's unpredictable and chaotic and yet so beautiful, and it seems more and more people are losing sight of the brighter side.
Life is precious and maddening and we must never take it for granted.
