my best friend
he has big brown eyes, and long ears,
his coat the color of my favorite khaki pants.his breed is called chihuahua, but some people call him a mexican rat.To me,he's just my best friend.
i named him papa, because he always watches over me like a father does to his child.when i was sad,he was there to make me smile.when i was lonely,he would play soccer with me until i finally got tired.
he was always alert both day and night, watching over me like a hawk & never letting me out of his sight.
i've had him since i was in the sixth grade, but he has been recently diagnosed with throat cancer.he no longer eats and he's no longer the happy dog i once knew.i no longer see happiness in his eyes, instead all i see is pain and sorrow.
i don't wanna let him go,but i can no longer see him suffer like this.my heart shatters into a million pieces every time i see his face.
all i can say to him now is thank you.thank for always being there for me whenever i needed someone to talk to.if you're ready to let go,then just know that i will always love you&i will always be greatful to you,my best friend.
