Overtime
Overtime: asking, telling, sharing fears and all those tears.
Never realize that what you say you overcome every day.
Revealing your feelings, sincerity in your eyes;
But you’ll never be by my side: it all disappears.
All those feelings bottled up, comforting the way you said, “It’s okay.”
Secret times, you would never deny.
Air is clear; all left here.
All those things they disappear;
The chance is gone; you hoped the closeness would never end,
But it did.
Secret lives and times; who would realize?
Revealing, gossip disappearing;
Saying secrets not to tell.
Knowing the truth, shedding a tear;
Saying goodbye to the night of truth.
They say they’re always right there – open ear.
But they soon forget those times during the night of real.
