All of Me
When I am gone I will be remembered.
They will remember my contagious laugh
And my constant cheerfulness
And the spark in me that could have led to greatness.
They will remember my outbursts of wonder
And the writing I shared
And the music I made.
But who will remember ME?
Who will remember my scars
And the way I drag my feet
And how I sometimes cried myself to sleep.
They will remember how smart they thought I was
But forget how I would study until 2 in the morning.
They will remember how I was such a kind person
But forget when I would lash out in anger.
When I am gone, who will remember me?
All my flaws?
All my successes?
All of me?
