My Lover Never Loved
I remember the smile that once graced your lips
I cant erase the feel of your hand in mine
I cant let go of all the times you promised your Love
And yet it is all gone.
I see your eyes every time I close mine
I imagine you wrapped around me when I lay in bed
I still call out your name when I cry
Every time I see her,
All I can imagine is your hands on her body
The way they were once on mine
I revisit the graveyard of our Love
But it has been destroyed by your hand
I cry, though I fight the tears
I no longer wish to Love you
But as you once told me
"Love does not die in a single day"
I Loved you, quite clearly
But now that you are gone, I begin to doubt
If you ever did Love me
