twined around
my arm
weathered roots
of steel
pinning my arms
to my side
feet to the ground
head bent-hold me
in captivity
but my heart’s beating
strong
within
soul alive
singing odes to grief
crystallized grid
of Light
inside I remain
Me
take me out
throw me low
inside
I have control
you have
what you see
I have what means most
to me
