If I Die
If I die, will you cry?
Will the tears ever escape your eye?
Will you witness my floating soul,
Paving its way towards the sky?
And will you watch them carry the casket,
The wooden box in which I lifelessly lie?
When I die, will you leave me alone,
As my body decomposes to the bone?
Or will you bedeck my grave with roses,
As if it were my eternal throne?
Will you feel the dents of the letters,
Spelling my name, etched on the stone?
Will my fleeting memory,
Wander away the next morning,
When you'll wake up feeling complete,
As though my existence was never missing?
Tell me!
Will my face ever leave your mind?
Will my name escape your heart?
Because I'm broken and thrown
As a victim of our society
And no one will ever miss me
Please tell me you are no one
You're perfectly no one, at least to me
