For Laura & Savannah
They sent me to these hallowing grounds,
Wishing me to find more
Than could easily be obtained,
To which task I suceeded-
Independently and with great ardor.
Then the times became disparate
And brought new lessons to be learned
Which I couldn't master alone:
Burdens to be bore,
Confrontation to be concealed,
And secrets to be secluded.
Then you materialize
In to my dark horizon.
And like a northern star,
You guided me to the place
Where
Calamity becomes calm,
Misery turns mild,
And happiness
Is a habit.

This was inspired by my two best friends, Laura and Savannah, who helped me through the darkest times of my life thus far.
