Oceans MAG
It’s funny how a few feet of space
Covered by grimy cafeteria tiles
Feels like the ocean.
But there’s no ship to let you cross.
Everyone is talking.
She is.
But not to me.
And I think,
Should I talk to her?
But I had,
Countless times,
And my words were useless as
Water seeping through cracks in the tile,
The distance staying the same but getting bigger,
And the water built up and built my ocean.
And I couldn’t sail across,
So I kept
Silent.
