I'm leaving this world
No longer am I happy
I'm leaving this world
Because my self-loathing mind won't set me free.
I'm leaving this world
Because I want to flee apathy
I'm tired of this agony
I'm leaving this world
Because, to it, I am only a detainee
Hidden away from amnesty
I'm leaving this world.
That's my liberality.
No. I disagree.
I'm not leaving this world
Because one day I might see
Why the bird sings in that fading tree.
