Hair Worth Living For
Luscious and red it was
Falling like a crimson waterfall down Jaemie’s back
All eyes were locked on her whenever she gave it a toss
She hated it, and wanted it all gone on a rack
So she cut it all off, her plan on track
She didn’t know that in the dead silence of little Cheryl’s ward
As the young one stroked her new magenta coloured locks
Not knowing how soon it would be before she had to visit heaven
With the biggest grin, she said out loud in an astonished tone
“Look at how fast it grew!”
