Dracknare Bole - An Annabel Lee Parody
It was many and many an eon ago,
In a galaxy by a black hole
That an alien there lived whom you may know
By the name of DRACKNARE BOLE;
And this alien he lived with no other thought
Than to eat and eat a mole.
I was a creature and he was a creature,
In this galaxy by a black hole
but we ate with a hunger that was more than hunger -
I and my Dracknare Bole;
With a hunger than the two-headed hot dog eaters of Pizzaland
coveted me and Bole.
And this was the reason long ago,
In this galaxy by a black hole,
An X-ray blasted out of the hole, frying
my buddy Dracknare Bole;
So that his lowborn swamp-evolved family came
And shoveled him away from the hole,
To toss him in the air at the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride
In this galaxy by a black hole.
The hot dog eaters not half so happy in Pizzaland
Went envying me and Bole
Yes! - that was the reason (as all men know,
In this galaxy in a black hole)
That the X-ray came out of the hole by night
Trying and frying my Dracknare Bole.
But our hunger it was stronger by far than the hunger
Of those who were bigger than we -
Of those far more accomplished than we -
And neither the hot dog eaters in Pizzaland afar,
Nor the lemon suckers down under the stars,
Can ever dissever his hunger from the stomach
Of my buddy Dracknare Bole.
For the radiation never beams without bringing me dreams
Of my buddy Dracknare Bole;
And the stars never fall but I hear the loud squall
Of my buddy Dracknare Bole;
And so at the noon-tide, I sit down on the ride
Of my friend - my friend - my life and my bide
In the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride thereby the hole,
In this Galaxy by a black hole.
