Crying in the dark, no one sees the tears
Razing down your face, unmasking all your fears
They say to let it go, to move on, to forget
But how am I supposed to move on from this
I forgot how to love
I forgot how to care
I forgot you were human
I forgot you were there
I told you I was sorry
We both know it wasn’t enough
The scars were too deep
The seas were to rough
The skies will forever be grey
I will stare at the stars as I lay
And wonder when I’ll look up
And see you
