Message never sent
I look at the blank screen on my phone.
So many things I could say,
So many things I would say
but I don’t.
The fear of the response.
I finally build the courage to type.
I start with I’m sorry and end with those 3 words,
8 letters, most feared sentence.
I take another look at it
I click send and its gone
The message never sent.
but why?
Because no matter what I think
those 3 words don’t belong to you.
