A Life Worth Living For
Sometimes I wonder
where I may end up when I die.
I wonder if it would be good?
I wonder it it would be bad?
Could it be a place
full of life
full of love
and full of hope?
Or could it be a place
full of hate
full of sorrow
and full of regret?
The day I go there
whether its light
or dark,
I will always know how good it felt to live,
even if I know that someday
I would have to die.
I would remember the way my little brother smiled up at me
as if he was the only one in the world who really understood.
I would remember the way my best friend laughed at my jokes
when I know they were not funny;
and I would remember how beautiful life was,
and how fast it can be taken from us.
Life is kinda funny like that,
but its life,
and life happens.
you can’t control it
you can’t prevent
the only thing you can do,
is enjoy it.
Because when that time comes,
you'll want to remember
that the life you came from,
was a life worth living for.
