as crisp as an apple
in the middle of a dark fall.
What is to have happened,
at this time in the future?
New feelings,
new people and ideas.
Maybe new faults?
The icy night
engulfs shiny lights
in the sky.
Shakey hands
and unsure minds
react in unison.
