Year after year
he played for all to hear
Expressing his heartache and despair
he poured his soul out into the vibration of strings.
Still got the blues
he sang from the heart
As the king of blues played for all
it’s so easy to feel alone in a world filled with the blues.
The Loner played
to the Midnight Blues
For all the Strangers in the Darkness
for the King of Blues was alone in his empty venue.
The time has come
the king hits one last chord
And returns home.
