Take Me Back to Before
While
anger seeps through my veins
pumping blood
to an exploding degree
While
ransacking and scattering
my dirty clothes across my dusty
room to find your
clean
perfume smelling scarf
While
tearing my skin with my own nails
only to watch
the shredding of every inch
of my flesh that has made contact
with
you
While
digging into my chapped lip
with my
vampire tooth
blood rush
ink spills
I don't remember who I am
I don't remember how this began
I want it to go back
I want it to go back
I want time to go back
I want to restart
But it's too late
too late
too late
too
late
I've lost your scarf
it's not there
I've lost you
and I don't know where
you are
take me back to time where
dust
did not dominate my room
and my decorations did not consist of
empty picture frames and
plastic barf bags
recorded messages of I
miss you
blood stains on
paper pencil pens
counters and carpets
take me back
to before I met
you.
