Favorite Quote:
Hope will never be silent.

They say that we're going to hell.

Their mouths spew hate,
voices ever growing louder,
the signs declaring negativity for our love.

I contemplate this as I slide willingly into the flames.
They will surely cover me, just as surely as this will not last.
But I slide my hands into your hair, anyway,
I put my breath hot against the crook of your neck,
and feel the devil claim its next victim.

We are sinners, you and I
we will burn for what we've done
or so they say.
I feel the devil slither into me as I pull back from you,
lips pulling into a grin,
and body trembling.

If this is hell,
what could heaven possibly be like?

I decide I do not want to know
and give my heart to you.
