Unbroken
I am broken
I am not a face in a picture
Not a toy to be played
Not a piece of cardboard
To be tossed to the wind
I am a person
Words cruel, and unforgiving
Slash upon my exposed back
Exposed, naked, afraid
I am unbroken
Freed now from the chains that have bound me to my merciless hell
I am limitless
I am sad
I am nothing
And I am everything
Divided, weightless
Floating, almost
Away
My guilty escape, my pleasure
Gnawing on my being
My eyes are tired
From thinking
From deceiving
My eyes know nothing of me
Even I know nothing of me
