Repetition poem
He was the one
It felt like true love
His eyes were an ocean
And I was drowned
He was hard to hold on to
I had to let go
It hurt when he left
Like a dagger into my chest
An open wound to big to close
Pain was all I felt
It seemed like it would last forever
I couldn’t close this wound by myself
I needed something new
Now I know it was never real
He left with no care
The wound would never heal properly
The pain will always be there
Still, his eyes were an ocean
And I was drowned
