We are all the same

People are all the same.
No matter what they look like,
how they speak
where they’re from,
they are all the same
They all believe in something,
In a higher power,
In themselves,
Or in nothing.
Everyone has good days,
Everyone has bad days,
And then there are days
we wish we could fade into the chaos of it all,
Into the shadows of nothing.
We all have those days.
But a sense of togetherness,
unity,
and comfort can be found
in the simple fact that
we are all the same
in these small ways.
