I will be glorious.
Loved.
Remembered.
When I go to war
I will be everlasting.
Beautiful.
Victorious.
When I go to war.
When I went to war
I became broken.
Filthy.
Unwanted.
When I went to war
I became eternal
Suffering
And Loss
When I went to war.
When I returned
We were all lost
Broken
Abandoned
For what we saw as beauty
Became its reality
A sea of endless gore and brutality
From what we sought
And what we achieved
Fell so far
Into agony.
