That Boy
You see that boy, he sits right there,
he's all alone with nothing to share.
With his dark long hair,
with not a bit of smile to wear.
For he sits alone,
all skin and bone.
With not a thing to eat,
he has bruises all over it seems he's been beat.
He does not talk,
but I want to go with him for a walk.
I want to help,
but I do not want to make him yelp.
I see he's in pain,
for his family is to blame.
Scratches all over his face,
he never walks a steady pace.
His voice is hoarse,
I need to help of course.
I can see the tears welling up in his eyes,
to me that is no big surprise.
I'm holding him close,
trying not to let him overdose.
I look at that boy in the mirror,
seeing the old one is nowhere near.
I see his scars day and night,
for his life there is no light.
For if you see,
that boy is me...

I wrote this because I know a lot of people have these kind of problems they have to face in life and I know a lot don't but for those who don"t it's nice to show an insite of what its kinda like for those who make fun of them and all to show them what their doing and what's going on.
