Our Nevermore MAG
I’ll be your strong and beautiful
With soft silken wings
Or razor sharp feathers
Paired with a cry of Nevermore
The dark, fogged city.
The city of hellish nightmares
And yet the piercing cry
Ringing like a bell
A land of dreams
Is our Nevermore
My wings, full and strong
Encompassing as the night drags on
A raven’s cry
A storm’s thunder
Echo the sounds of Nevermore
Permeating the silence
One last night, last time
The nightmares clipping toes
Lulling us to the ground
As for in Nevermore
You’ll never need something more
A piercing shriek
A fading cry
A set of sobs
To fill the night
