Missing You
Annoying people.
Annoying children.
I constantly wish,
hope
for something to
make things better.
Then I look down,
not to the
sand of the beach, or
the shells, or
the water, but
to the necklace
around my neck.
You gave it to me to
remind me
that I can Overcome
the struggles.
Remembering your
strength is with me, makes things better.
But it also
makes me miss you.
I know
I'll see you soon,
though you're not dead,
it still feels
that long of a spell.
