lonely bug

I feel the lonely nipping me
on the leg, where I have all my
battle scars, the lonely nipping me
at the heels when I walk, even
with my nose in the air
it isn’t convinced, I have to stoop down
and flick it off, it comes back
for an open bite to the flesh:
it will swim through crowds and confidants
to stay bzzzzz
around my head.
