the man who can neither see nor hear.
you broil in your never ceasing unhappiness
simmering in a constant discontentment
yearning for love in your days of loneliness
and for autonomy in your days of affinity
in underground fluorescent lights
the bright vermillion of the seat surrounds
your drawn face as an aura
forcing the amalgamation of a grunt and a chuckle
you chuckle at nothing but the passing of the train doors
chuckling in frustration
and chuckling in confusion
my words surround you as a seemingly impenetrable wall
you broil in your never ceasing unhappiness
but i cannot blame you for being unhappy
if you can neither hear
nor laugh
~there is nothing
i can ever do
to help you
