Dark Into The Light
As you took a toll on my life
Walking constantly
Out of lives you’ve hurt
How can you leave
Like it doesn’t effect
How can you be ok
The lives you’ve birthed, left
Time goes by
You are alive
Not alive to me
A figure
A human being
Now a stranger
Hurt never hurt till it felt like hate
Hate ain’t never felt like strength
Strength never felt like forgiveness
