Monser by dean mayers
Monster by Walter Dean Mayers
Have you ever wanted to write a screen play? Well, while Steven Harmon was in jail it was the only thing keeping him somewhat sane. Are you interested to know what it feels like to be in prison, to spend your life behind bars? What impact does it have on someone’s life? Well there is a reason why people don’t want to go to prison. If you like to see someone behind the scene of prison you should read monster.
This book showed me a lot of things, one of them being that whether you are or not guilty you have to prove your innocence. This book I think was very good and I would read it again. I’m not a fan of reading but this book hooked me. I t was suspenseful and intriguing. Dean Mayers writing style keeps the reader asking “ what is going to happen next”. The fact that this book was short read and easy enough to keep track of it kept me waiting to see what would happen next. I liked this book very much and I would recommend this book to anyone who is not a fan of reading.
This book is one book that I would reread and if there are more books like this I would try reading it and maybe I would like reading more. This is a book that would get people to start reading more in my opinion because it is a good length and a good story line.
