The Dread of Boredom
At the center of boredom is an overpowering hunger for entertainment.
A deep black sludge,
the swirl of loneliness sounds like a howling wind swirling around you.
A howl that tastes like water as it flows smoothly. But when it stops everything dries like a desert,
like a volcanic eruption, explosive and unyielding but it’s so natural.
It can easily turn to sadness,
But when you toss sadness to the wind, it returns as indifference.
Repeating the cycle.
