Different
When I met her, I thought our friendship was strong
I felt close to her
I was her best friend
She was someone that I could talk to without worry
I was there when she needed me
But she was never there when I needed her
As years passed by, I noticed how blind I was
I noticed how our friendship was slowly crumbling
I spoke to her about things I needed to let go
I trusted her
But she didn’t trust me
She was the opposite of me
She was different from me
She wanted attention
I didn’t
She was an extrovert
I was an introvert
We had our ups and downs
But in the end, we made up
She was different from me
But our differences won’t affect our friendship

I had doubts about our friendship. I always thought that our friendship, was good. Too good, to be true.
