As memories flood my mind,
a horrid taste is left upon my tongue.
I remember,
he bond that fastened us together like fine spun silk,
the promises we made.
Where did they go?
Unknown.
You seemingly thrive off my anguish,
as my pain brings a smile to your face.
But that same ugly ecpression causes me to cringe in disgust.
As i can only wish for the past.
Seeing your arms once meant warmth,
But now i only see condemnment.
You, on the other hand, see through me,
with those eyes,
your stare,
tears through my flesh,
I bleed to your name.
But in this ocean of lies, you stay afloat,
keeping that precious head above water.
But as for me dear,
i've already drowned.
