Favorite Quote:
The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Traitors, were what the white men were,
Rapidly pushing us off our land,
Apparently they didn't care,
Illness spread everywhere,
Let us keep our land oh please,
Onward they marched ignoring our pleas,
Feet were sore, people dying,
Treaties signed but never kept,
Empty and barren was our new land,
After a while they came back,
Roaring and shouting for us to leave,
Sadness, heavy in the air,we marched west yet again.

This is an Acrostic poem that I wrote for school. An acrostic poem is a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word or message. In this case - Trail Of Tears.
