Terror
You send terror,
Searing through my body,
Whenever I see you.
I try to hide my fright,
to hide the tears,
To put on a smile just to keep you happy.
You punched a hole,
Searing straight through my heart.
You fake things around me,
Making me think and wonder,
What to believe and what is deceived.
Your rejections,
Are the worst part,
They cut me deeper,
Deeper than anything else,
Ever before.
You just sit there,
And pretend,
That you care,
Even pay attention to me,
I can tell that it’s all a lie and you don’t care.
