To Be Gay
To be gay?
To be gay?
They're the same word!
Gay; happiness, frivolity, joyous.
Gay; not straight, not "normal"
But who is?
You're so gay!
Yeah, you're right
I am happy.
Happy to be me,
Happy I'm not you
With you're derogatory terms, and idiotic vernacular
You sound as stupid as you look
Why should I listen to someone with his pants around his ankles?
Or with pants so tight I see London I see France!
To be gay is to be proud,
Proud of who you are
Proud of the love you share
With each other, with the world, with those who are near and far
You can try and insult m with a compliment
But that'll be far more counter productive than you could realize.
I am rubber, you are glue,
And I will catch you're "insult" and hold on tight
To retain the happiness that so many are void of
I am lucky, and you're words make no sense to the one who knows what they mean.
