The Depth
The deepest depth
Is that of despair
Hearts go to die low down in there
The place dark and dank
Deeper than where the Titanic sank
It has never known light
Only the returns of evil and spite
I've become quite familiar with this low place
This hell far colder than any part of space
Where he has sent me time and again
He's made it my home my own horrible pen
After every one's failed me
Every one's run
When my baby bump they did see
It is me not him they now shun
He soon after proposed
A symphony of lies he composed
Fell away one by one before I saw what lay below
My dissension to despair was painful and slow
He reduces me to a whimpering girl
As if my life weren't already a knock up whirl
When we're in public he uses nothing but charm
And parades me proudly about on his arm
This is my reason
To end all the treason
I hope it's much nicer up there
Nicer than my deep depth of despair
