Plea of Anxiety
If my arm was broken, would you ask me to climb a ladder?
If I was blind, would you ask me to read Shakespeare?
Then why do you witness the pain in my eyes,
Hear the rattling in my bones and the hyperventilation of my soul
The fear screaming in my mind
And ask me to “just breathe”?
