I walk past you, you walk past me.

Modest eye contact to say the least.

I see wonder in your face,

With a hint of oblivion in your pace.

You'll never know my deepest truths,

Because they lie inside of you.

I know you will never feel the same way,

Like our souls are intertwined.

So I'll continue walking,

And leave my soul behind.
