The summer I lost my friend
See the summer that didn't last
can't you see the pain behind the mask
You asked for my friendship
I gave it to you
But what we had
wasn't true
You laughed at me behind my back
It hurts like a needle
a piercing tack
for all those years
that we were friends
it wasn't true
I want it to END
I tried and I tried
to make things right
but in the end I couldn't, wouldn't
fight... no more
We still go around saying hi
it doesn't matter
you can't erase time
in the end
No matter the the pain
behind the mask
you were my best friend
but I knew it wouldn't last
